Healing, processing, and working through the events of our past look different for everyone. My favorite way to do these three things is to journal. Right away, I want to share that journaling looks different for everyone!
Some people write in a notepad app on their phone or in a physical journal. Some people record their voices in voice memo apps or create videos. Other people create space in social media groups to share with others.
There’s no RIGHT way to work through what’s on your mind. The only WRONG thing you can do in this situation is to avoid working through it at all.

It’s okay to feel your feelings.
It’s okay to get triggered.
It’s okay to say exactly what you need to say.
It’s okay to need space.
It’s okay to be really messy.
It’s okay to be you.
Over the last few years, it has been my goal of mine to create a space for others to open up and work through their healing process. I was very grateful to be able to go to a therapist during the darkest moment of my life, but I know that not everyone has that kind of access. I opened my social media inbox to those who had a lot on their mind and quickly noticed how important it is for people to have someone to talk to when they just need to vent.

Not only did I create a safe community on social media, but I also opened up myself as a safe space. Most people feel the safety with me and share things that they’ve never shared with anyone else. I love being a safe space for others. If you’re looking for a place where you can be real and raw without judgment, I would love to invite you to my private community. You can request to join us here.
